Olivia loved playing soccer, chase, tag, and anything that involved running. Her sparkling eyes, warm heart, imagination, and fun personality were among the many things that made Olivia special. The annual Olivia Chaffin Memorial Soccer Tournament held in June, supports this fund to benefit Mead Education Foundation and Mead School District students and schools.

The Olivia Chaffin Memorial Fund was established on March 19, 2011, Olivia’s birthday. Nine-year-old Olivia was tragically killed in June 2010 on the way to her school play (Evergreen Elementary in Mead), when a pizza delivery driver missed a stop sign and ran into the Chaffin’s car. The Mead community rallied to support the family. Olivia’s parents both teach in Mead schools.
